Kathleen Moon photographs, 1950-1954 (VIS 129)
This collection is comprised of images of schools, churches, farms, homes, public buildings, town squares, railroads, industrial facilities, cemeteries, rivers, stores, parks, community centers, and entertainment venues in Fulton County. The photographs were taken in the cities and towns of Alpharetta, Atlanta, Ben Hill, Cascade Heights, Campbellton, Cedar Grove, College Park, Crabapple, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Hopewell, Newtown, Ocee, Palmetto, Red Oak, Rico, Roswell, Sandtown, Sandy Springs, Tell, Union City and Warsaw. Many of the photographs were entered into various Atlanta Historical Society photo contests from 1950 to 1954.
The Kathleen Moon photograph collection contains 124 color slides and black and white photographic prints, 41 of which are digitized and available on this database.
