The United States presidential election of 1964 matched President Lyndon Johnson and U.S. Senator Hubert Humphrey on the Democratic side against Republican Senator Barry Goldwater and New York Representative William Miller. The Johnson/Humphrey ticket won the election with 61% of the popular vote. The Goldwater/Miller ticket won the popular vote in the state of Georgia.
