Notes
Originally called the Presbyterian Church of Savannah, the Independent Presbyterian Church was established in Savannah, Georgia in 1755. It was first located on Market Square (now known as Ellis Square). It was destroyed by fire in 1790, and in 1800 a new building was constructed on St. James' Square (now Telfair Square), but it was destroyed by a hurricane. The third and final construction of the church was at its current location at the corner Bull Street and South Broad Street (now Oglethorpe Avenue).
