In this clip , C.C . and Phoebe Hart discuss the stature of African American preachers within the black community in Atlanta . Notes
Phoebe Lucille Fraser Burney Collier Hart (1902-2000) was a prominent figure in the Atlanta University Center. A graduate of Clark College (now Clark Atlanta University) and Gammon Theological Seminary, she began her career as secretary to Dr. Benjamin Mays, President of Morehouse College. Later, she became the Dean of Women at her alma mater, Clark College, a position she held until 1956.
